![]() ![]() “We’ve always had a really amazing connection with Scotland in general and the gigs are amazing. So many people move to Glasgow or Edinburgh from Northern Ireland. ![]() We lived in Glasgow for a year when we were writing our second album and have a lot of old friends there. “It’s super-cool to get back playing in Scotland, though. For example, we’ve never played a headline show in Inverness. “The area is somewhere we’ve not been to much. It’s somewhere we’ve never played before but have heard good things about. “We’re all really looking forward to Belladrum. I ran back to the campsite to my mates and sat up all night drinking with them, so I have really good memories of being up there. “However, the tour bus broke down while leaving the site, which was the best news ever for me. We played, I said, ‘Hello’ to them but then we had to leave straight away. ![]() “Loads of my friends came to the festival and I’d got them all in. A girl pulled her top up while we were playing, which was a new experience for us. Kevin said: “ RockNess was just crazy and was the first time we ever got flashed onstage. The Irish three-piece – Alex Trimble, Sam Halliday and Kevin Baird – lived in Glasgow while making their second album.īut it was at the stunning Dores site that they had a rockstar moment - a girl fan flashing them. Adopted Scots Two Door Cinema Club are thrilled to be playing Belladrum as one of the landmark moments in the band’s career came just along the road at the sadly defunct RockNess. ![]()
